Research on Publishing Magazines

The Bauer Publishing Group was founded in Hamburg 1875 by Johann Bauer. The Bauer publishing group began as printing house but has now expanded into a worldwide publishing empire, who now sell 282 magazines in 15 countries and make almost 2 billion euros annually.

Bella was Bauer's first magazine to enter the U.K. which became an instant success with women due to its
unseen real life editorial and exciting service features. The Bauer company grabbed more interest with the launch of Take a Break magazine in 1990. With its unfamiliar format of real life and competitions Take a Break became a huge success selling 1 million copies a week. Despite fierce competition these magazines manage to lead the market.
